The Glen Innes Plane
Crash
L.A.C. William John (Bill) Ervin, who was one of the victims of the plane crash in Glen Innes on Mondav last, was 29 years of ape. He is survived by his widow and young son John.

W.A.A.F. CORPORAL
KILLED IN PLANE CRASH
SYDNEY. — Four RAAF airmen and a WAAF corporal were killed when carrying out a non-operational aviation training exercise in Northern New South Wales, it was officially announced today. The aircraft burnt a house into which it crashed. Those killed -were: -Flight Sergeant James Ian Noble, pilot, of Inverell; W/O William Henry Osborne, wireless  operator, of Fairy Meadow; LAC Roy Cecil Edwards, trainee navigator, of Toowoomba; LAC William John Ervin, trainee navigator, of Trundle NSW; Corporal Joan May McCormack,  passenger, of Richmond.
