KILLED IN AIR
ACCIDENT
Leading Air-craftman Geoffrey Ian Everist, RAAF, youngest son of Mrs M. E. Everist, Vera Street, Toowong, and of the late Mr W. A. Everist, lost his life on July 1 as a result of an air-craft accident whilst training in Canada. LAC Everist, who was 19 years of age, was employed by the International Harvester Company in Brisbane prior to his enlistment. He was an active worker for the Toowong Methodist Church.
