Flight Sergeant Oswald Edward Ferguson 3913 BEM (British Empire Medal) of 10SQN RAAF and Flying Officer Dick Smith 401713 of Number 196 (Glider-Towing) Squadron (196SQN) RAF based at Keevil, England were killed by a flying bomb at Aldwych in London, England
