Family

Hello mate, I know you will never read this but I wanted to attach something to your virtual site. My name is Brad Hale and I am you’re great nephew. You’re sister Evelyn Finch married a soldier named John William Lucas. They had 4 kids, with my mum being the eldest. We loss Eve (Nanna) in 2011 & broke our hearts to say goodbye. You’re sister was the best Nanna any kid could have wished for and we got twice as lucky cause our Pop was also the most kind n generous man and he loved us and Nanna more then life itself.

Nanna would talk about you Jimmy and often told us that you’re passing broke your mums heart and that she missed you greatly until the day she died. I have the numerous letters you wrote to your mum whilst you were deployed in the army.

We all live a happy and healthy life Jimmy and we attribute this to the selfless acts that you and thousands of your brothers in arms did to ensure our safety and way of life.

As the years past by Jimmy people are more open to their emotions and I just wanted to let you know that we are so very proud of you and what you did, we all love you and you have been so very missed throughout all these years. I truely hope you are now with Nanna & Pop and let them know we miss them terribly.

Brad Hale 2018
