World War 1 Service

18 Feb 1918: Involvement AIF WW1, Private, 52930, Light Horse Reinforcements, Egypt and Palestine - Light Horse and AFC Operations, Kenneth served in both World Wars. He enlisted for WW1 on Feb 18 1918 & left Sydney June 18 1918 destined for Suez. He arrived in Suez July 17 1918 for service in Egypt, after a being deployed in the Middle East for the next 12 months, illness saw him return to Australia as medically unfit on the 19th April 1919. He was awarded the 1914/15 Star, British War Medal & Victory Medal.
