Biography

John Thomas Naldrett FROST was born on 5th August, 1922 at Walthamstow, Essex, England

His parents were John Thomas FROST and Ethel Harriet STUBBS

He had previous service with the 30th Battalion (Reserve) when he enlisted with the Royal Australian Air Force on 19th July, 1941

John died in a Flying Battle in Vimouthiers,  France on 20th August, 1944 - he is buried in St Desir War Cemetery, Normandy, France,  Grave Reference Plot VI, Row F, Grave 8

He was a Pilot Officer with the 198 Squadron (RAF) when he died & flying a Typhoon ground attack aircraft (MN 719)

Also commemorated at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra and on the Roll of Honour, Derby, England
