Son of Ernest Milton Garbutt and Evelyn Winifred Garbutt, of Homebush, New South Wales, Australia. A.I.C.A.

Reported missing from air operations on the night of the 2nd October 1943 aboard Lancaster Mk III E.D. 621. This aricraft was engaged on a bombing operation, the primary target being Nuch, and it is therefore pesumed to be missing as a result of enemy action. Milton was the navigator on this flight.
Originally buried at Westfriedhof Cemetery, Munich. Remains exhumed and reburied at Durnbach War Cemetery.
