my grandfather grew up with his family through out NSW while his farther worked on the railway he was born at Gravesend 1921 . he meet a young single mother and soon married as she was expecting . my farther robert was born 11/1941 and William joined the 55th looking for a steady wage but was soon shipped to Papua.
