Son of William Mark and Isabella Daphne Gibbs; husband of Dorothy Jean Gibbs, of Griffith, New South Wales, Australia.
AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN WE WILL REMEMBER HIM
Subsequent to thorough investigation by Missing Research Personnel operating in Europe, it was established by interrogation of villagers, that the aircraft after having been attacked by an enemy night fighter, was observed to have crashed half a mile west of the village of Eemnes, Province of Utrecht, Holland on the morning of 13th of May 1943.
