Son of James Charles and Jane Gibson of Geraldton, Western Australia

AC Gibson of 201 Flight was struck by a tram in Melbourne, suffering a fractured skull.  He was taken to Number 6 RAAF Hospital but his injuries were too severe and he passed away (Cause of death information obtained from member’s NAA casualty file held in Canberra)
