LAC Goddard of Number 1 Flying Boat Repair Depot at Lake Boga died at Number 6 RAAF Hospital in Heidelberg due to complications from concussion he suffered during a boxing match on the 29th of November (Cause of death from book “Lake Boga at War” by Brett Freeman)
