Son of Thomas Alexander and Thelma Anne Goyne of Warwick, Queensland.

 

Mid-air collision during formation flying over Durdidwarrah Dam, 7 miles east of Meredith, Victoria between two Oxford training aircraft from 1 Service Flying Training School, Point Cook.  All crew involved were killed:
