Peter Mallon Grant died as a POW of the Japanese on the Thai-Burma Railway. He was 40 years old.
He was survived by his daughter, Patricia Joan Grant and his son, Thomas Patrick John Grant.
Peter served under the name of John Peter Dennis. The Australian War Memorial records indicate he also served under the name of Peter Mervyn Doyle (NX59577)
