PRIVATE ALLAN GREEN
Our Surat correspondent writes: We greatly regret to announce that Pte. Allan Green has been reported "killed in action" during recent battles in New Guinea. He was popular with a large circle of friends who mourn his death and extend sympathy to his father and relatives.
