Husband of Rona Maud Hains of West Hobart, Tasmania

 

LAC Hains was a fireman at Number 4 Squadron, Canberra Aerodrome (Fairbairn) - he was killed when his fire tender was struck by a taxying Mustang fighter (A68-43) piloted by Wing Commander R.C. "Dick" Cresswell
