The details provided are taken from the book "1000 Men at War" the history of the 2nd/16th Infantry Battalion. Thomas was born at Maylands WA 22nd Dec 1912. Prior to the war he was a builder of Nedlands WA. Unfortunately, he died of wounds 7th July 1941. Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget.
