First R.A.A.F. Husband of Valma Tracey to die

Joined R.A.A.F. in Brisbane, on 22nd July 1941. His Service No: 405907. He was stationed with 272 Squadron, A.H.Q. Malta & was aged 28 at the time his aircraft was shot down.

Lost at Sea

Flying Officer Dudley John Hickey lost his life while conducting night time reconnaissance over Malta where his plane crashed into the sea.
