ERIC CHARLES SNOWBALL who died of wounds in an Australian Clearing Station in France on 29th June 1917 was the son of the late Wm. Snowball (No. 858 on the School Roll) .
He was born in 1893 and was at the School in 1909 and 1910. On
leaving School he went on to the land and was a farmer at Lake Charm, near Swan Hill, when he enlisted and joined the 1st Divisional Train, 3rd Army Service Corps.
He was severely injured in June 1916, but after he was convalescent he rejoined his unit, and death resulted from wounds received twelve months later.
