NX57109 Private (Pte) Luke McCartney Hocking was also known as Walter William Morris, 2/20 Battalion, of Epping, NSW. He was a clerk prior to enlisting under the name Walter William Morris on 10 July 1940. He is presumed to have died in Malaya on 9 February 1942, when the Japanese invaded Singapore.
