Robert Weston HOWLAND was born in Newcastle, NSW on 9th May, 1914
His parents were John Edward HOWLAND & Opal Regina WESTON who married in St Pauls Church, West Maitland on 24th April, 1907
He married Norma Joan PROCTOR in St Marys Church in West Maitland, NSW in 1938
Robert died of wounds in New Guinea on 1st October, 1943 and is buried in the Port Moresby (Bomana) War Cemetery
