Gladstone Montague HUNT was born in Gordon, Sydney on 12th July, 1918

His parents were Aubrey Fitzmaurice HUNT & Aileen FLOOD who married in NSW in 1913

He had previously served in the 101 Australian General Transport Company of the AIF before enlisting in the RAAF - he was discharged on 3rd August, 1945 as medically unfit for further service
