Husband of Elsie Florence Irwin of Guildford, NSW

 

Leading Aircraftman Irwin 161217 of Number 11 Signals Unit at Adelaide River (5RIMU) was involved in a collision between his RAAF motorcycle and a US Army truck, he was on-duty at the time of the accident.  He later died at Number 1 Medical Receiving Station in Darwin
