"...NX67449 Corporal Robert William (Bobby) Johnson, 2/30 Battalion, of Kogarah, NSW. Johnson enlisted in January 1941 and became a prisoner of war following the fall of Singapore in February 1942. He died in Thailand, of illness, on 2 September 1943. Corporal Johnson was 24 years of age." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
