John Henry KAWELMACHER was born in Cobram in Victoria on 11th July, 1905
His parents were Charles James David KAWELMACHER & Penelope MORLEY who married in Victoria on 3rd April, 1889
He married Doris Florence CASEY in NSW in 1927

His brother Otto James (Oscar) KAWELMACHER SN 335 died in Gallipoli on 2nd June, 1915 - 7th Light Horse Regiment - also listed as KAWLMACKER
