Son of Edmund Anthony and Hessie Jane Keogh; husband of Justina Marguerite Keogh of East Maitland, NSW
Plane was B-24DI number 42-40984 which crashed at Bootless Bay, New Guinea while on a supply dropping mission. It had failed to gain sufficient height to clear sheer and struck a cliff just below the summit
