Lancaster LL789 of Number 467 Squadron crashed at Pfahlbronn in Germany (target Stuttgart) killing RAAF crewmen Flight Sergeant Peter Callow 423445 / Flight Sergeant Gilbert Thomas Kirby 434682 / Flight Sergeant Richard Gilbert Symonds 437322
Two other RAAF crewmen survived and became Prisoners of War - Flight Lieutenant Victor Colin Manchester 437530 and Flying Officer Arthur Lang Bright 420856
