Brian Henry LINCOLN (1921-1943)
Brian Lincoln had enlisted into the Militia's 4th Infantry Battalion, originally a NSW-based unit. See Unit history HERE (/explore/units/999)
He was one of fourteen soldiers of the 4th Infantry Battalion killed on 15th March 1943 near the Battalion camp outside of Moora. They were killed when a mortar bomb, being closely examined by the group, exploded, killing all of them.
The funeral took place at Moora Cemetery on 16th March, 1943. The bodies were transferred to Karrakatta Cemetery after the cessation of the war.
