RAAF vehicle 204921 driven by LAC Sloggett 74331 & RAAF vehicle 205594 driven by LAC Beasley 78348 were involved in an accident outside of Darwin resulting in the deaths of 3 airmen:

Leading Aircraftman Emile Wilfred Webb 72177 of 9th Replenishing Centre (Adelaide River)

Leading Aircraftman Kenneth Huntley Little 88113 of 9th Replenishing Centre (Batchelor)

LAC Sergeant 78382 was injured but recovered after a stay in hospital.
