David Crawford Paterson LUNDIE was born in Wollongong, NSW on 25th September, 1922

His parents were Andrew Paterson LUNDIE & Mary MUIR who married in Sydney in 1916

He enlisted in Sydney on 15th August, 1941 with the Royal Australian Air Force as Air Crew - last rank was Navigator (460 Squadron) His plane was a Lancaster Bomber W4316 AR Q

He was missing, presumed deceased in a flying battle in the Netherlands on 13th June, 1943 and is buried in the Ijsselmuiden (Grafhorst) General Cemetery, Netherlands, Row B, Grave 45
