Pilot Officer Ian Cumming MacKenzie 405005 was killed in the loss of Halifax JB909 of 408SQN near La Neuvillette, France

Pilot Officer Conel O'Connell 403033 became a POW and was discharged from the RAAF in December 1945 following liberation
