Parents: - Alfred James Magennis and Mary Kathrine Wilson, married 16th July 1908 in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia.
Wife: - Jean Patricia Sherwood married 1946, Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia.
Court of Inquiry convened 16th November 1946, at Myambat Military Base, concluded Private Raymond Magennis died almost instantly, when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a stationary motor vehicle on the army base. Cause of death was due to a fractured skull, he was on duty at the time of death.
