Sergeant Robert Eric Fraser 405304 and Sergeant James Alexander Mant 5799 of Number 23 Squadron were killed in the loss of Wirraway A20-532 2 miles north of Toowoomba aerodrome

Sergeant Fraser was buried in Toowoomba Cemetery

Sergeant Mant was cremated at Mt Thompson Crematorium and is commemorated on the Queensland Cremation Memorial in Brisbane
