Flying Officer Norman Albert Marsh DFC 17520 RAAF of Number 1656 Heavy Conversion Unit RAF walked into a rotating aircraft propeller on the runway at RAF Lindholme

1656 HCU was formed by merging the Conversion Flights of Number 103 (RAF) Squadron and Number 460 (RAAF) Squadron
