Flight Sergeant Murray Gordon Marshall 418139 (Wireless Air Gunner) from RAF Station Waterloo in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa was in a lorry on an organised bathing run on the 19th of December 1943
He was critically injured when the vehicle overturned at Benjguema near Freetown (East) and he was admitted to Number 51 General hospital but he died of his injuries on the 24th of December 1943
