The details provided are taken from the book "1000 Men at War" the history of the 2nd/16th Infantry Battalion, published 1959, refer to page 71. Frederick was born at Cottesloe WA 30th Dec 1914. Prior to the war he was a clerk at Cottesloe, and he served with the 16th Battalion Militia. During the war he served with the 2nd/16th Inf Bn and rose to the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1. Unfortunately, he was Killed In Action 6th July 1941. Rest In Peace. Lest We Forget.
