Pte. JOHN MAYNARD
Pte. John Maynard, aged 18 years, died in the Dubbo District Hospital on Saturday morning. He was a son of Mr. & Mrs. John Maynard, of Willanthry. Both Mr. & Mrs. Maynard travelled to Dubbo last week, and were with their son before his death. The body was buried in the Dubbo cemetery early this week, with full military honours. He is survived by three brothers and four sisters. Two of the brothers, Ptes. Ted and Harry, are with the Forces.
The late Pte. Maynard left for camp on the same day, and in company with Pte. Ray Baker, who also died at Dubbo recently.
