OBITUARIES

McCALE.—In loving memory of my dear husband and daddy, Eynon, who passed away on June 18, 1943.

"A silent thought brings many a tear,
Of the one we miss and loved so dear;
For we who loved him, truly know,
How much we lost one year ago."

(Inserted by his wife and little daughter, Nance.)

McCALE.—In loving memory of our dear nephew and cousin, Lieut. E. W. McCale, who died of wounds on June 18, 1943.

"No one he loved was by his side To hear his last faint sigh,
Or whisper just one loving word Before he closed his eyes.
We never knew the pain he bore, We never saw him die,
We only know he passed away, And never said good-bye."

(Inserted by his loving aunt and uncle and cousins, McCale.)
