Son of William Gracen McCracken and Lillian McCracken of St. Kilda, Victoria
Pilot Officer McCracken 36157 RAF was killed in the loss of RAF 139SQN Blenheim N6234 near Meppen, Emsland district of Lower Saxony in Germany - also killed were Sergeant Stanley Robert Mitchell (Observer, Service Number 580376) and Aircraftman 1st Class Robert Boaler Smith (Wireless Op/Air Gunner, Service Number 526371)
