David most likely arrived in Australia in 1925 onboard the S.S. Oram, on the passenger list of which his address is listed as "Immigration Bureau, Perth".
Western Australian Electoral Rolls for 1931, 1936 and 1937 show that David was a farmer in Group 89 in Pemberton WA.
In 1941 David married Annie Elizabetha BOND in Osborne Park, WA (WA Marriage Registration No.: 101844).
In the 1943 WA Electoral Rolls, both David and Annie are living at 54 Lindsay Street, North Perth, with David's occupation listed as 'military occupation'.
