He was 25 and the son of Louisa Green, nee Fensom and the late Thomas Green, farmer of BOLNHURST, bedfordshire and of Keysoe Row, St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, England.
Enlisted at Renmark with the 50th Battalion.A I.F. Australian Army, 23rd September 1915 as a Private. Disembarked at Marseilles, killed in action on Monday 4th September 1916. Monday 4 September 1916. Originally buried at Mouquet Farm, grave lost and for more than a century, commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, Somme, France. Panel 150. 26.
He is honoured on the Keysoe War Memorial.
