"McORMOND.- On December 18, 1944, killed in air action while a prisoner of war in Germany, Thomas Vernon, dearly beloved son of William John and Kate May McOrmond, of 157 York St., and loving brother of Elsie, Dulcie, Eileen, Jesie, Mary and Lawrence, aged 27 years.
