Wirraway aircraft A20-117 of Number 24 Squadron crashed near Ravenswood, Queensland killing Sergeant Kenneth Ian Scott 6591 (Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens, Brisbane) and Flying Officer Ian Lambton Menzies 774 (744) (cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Sydney - commemorated on Panel 5 of the NSW Cremation Memorial)
