Everard joined the RAAF in Brisbane where he was working as an advertising manager. His next of kin were listed as his parents Albert & Eleanor from Toorak in Victoria. Everard was a fighter pilot, flying Tomahawk fighters with 112 Sqn RAF in Egypt when he lost his life. He was killed in an accident in 1941 near Fayid in Egypt.
