Vance Aubrey MOESSINGER was born in Kingaroy, Queensland on 16th August, 1901

His parents were Godfrey Louis MOESSINGER & Louise Henrietta FRICKE

He married Edna Blanche ROBINS in Queensland on 9th April, 1925

He had enlisted in the Army prior to WW2 on 22nd May, 1933 and was discharged on 22nd May, 1937 - he served for 4 years with the Field Artillery (Service No. 401057) before enlisting to serve during WW2 on 6th January, 1942 with the Australian Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers

Vance died of Illness in the Greenslopes Military Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland on 18th April, 1943
