Sergeant Reginald Daly Mohr DFM 400019 of 39 Squadron / 211 Squadron RAF was killed during a Japanese attack on the airfield at Kalidjati, Java when all remaining Blenheim aircraft were destroyed by Japanese tanks before they could be flown out (details of attack in book “In Service with the Lion” by E.R. (Bon) Hall in the “Glory in Chaos” set of titles) - he is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial
