John Ross MOORE was born on 14th March, 1923 in Strathfield, Sydney, NSW
His parents were Baynard Ross MOORE and Marjorie TOWN who married in Sydney in 1920
His father Baynard Ross MOORE served in WW1 (SN2852) and returned to Australia in 1918
His brother Barney MOORE served in WW2 ( SN420700) RAAF and was discharged in 1945
