24 Apr 1918: Wounded 6575, On the 24/4/18 in France William became a casualty in action. He got moved to a hospital in Torrens park on the 28/12/18, they made the medical report on the 7/1/19. He had suffered a gun shot to his right hand, including his little finger being blown off. Later on he had an amputation of his ring finger.
