17 Feb 1942: Imprisoned Malaya/Singapore, Sapper John Morrison embarked for oversea's service from Darwin on 21st December 1941. He became missing in action on 2nd February 1942, established on 2nd June 1942 now a prisoner of war as of 17th February 1942 at Ambon, Indonesia. Established on the 13th September 1945, that Sapper Morrison had been murdered by Japanese Imperial Forces whilst their prisoner in, Ambon, Netherlands East Indies, 26 April 1945.

Parents: -  Henry Joseph Morrison and Phoebe Salina Edmonds married 1911 in Murrurundi,New South Wales.

Wife: -  Violet Thelma Green married 14th November 1941 in Nanango, Queensland
