Warrant Officer Ian David Carnie 401492 RAAF and Flying Officer Edward Scott Murphy DFC 401171 RAAF were killed when Marauder PK363 of 14 Squadron RAF crashed at sea near Sardinia - their bodies were not recovered and they are commemorated on the Malta Memorial
