Flying Officer Swire 413913 and Flying Officer Newth 420985 of 244SQN RAF were killed when Dakota KG690 crashed west of Cape Risut on the South Arabian Coast during a transport flight

Their bodies were not recovered and they are commemorated on the Alamein Memorial
